To turn off Instant Replies:

As a matter of fact, Swissgolden is more like a Ponzi scheme; the matrix positions are deemed as the investment.
The main focus of Swissgolden is to recruit people, and they solely depend on money invested by investors.
Undoubtedly, the gold seems irrelevant upon clear thinking. And this is common with businesses operating with this structure.
All the funds taken are cash and the commission is as well paid in cash.

2. Why the lack of transparency?

It is true that transparency cannot be separated from a legit cooperation. And where transparency is wanting, questions are bound to arise.
Who is the founder of swissgolden? When was it established? Swissgolden did not mention any of these on their website and in so doing; they create an air of mystery around their brand.

In addition to this, Swissgolden website was not properly proofread. And for the developer to overlook this after all these time simply connote something fishy.
But then, I will not conclude here that Swissgolden is a scam. And this is because there are testimonies of people benefiting from it. 
However, investors should always remember that a scheme is not a scam until it becomes impossible for the investor to reclaim his/her money. But that was how it happened with MMM. Those who are old on this platform will remember my articles them, some even insulted me then, but these facts need to be made known.

How Would It Make You Feel - Network marketing in Nigeria

How would it make you feel ? If Uplines and downlines  dwell in true  peace and Unity in Swissgarde.

How would it make you feel ? If Distributors don’t poach and steal recruits from one another.

How would it make you feel ? When quarrels and bikerings will cease to exist between Uplines and downlines.

How would it make you feel ? If we all stick to how products ought to be sold in the market place, those at higher star levels the price the younger ones out of the business.

How would it make you feel ? if downlines show respect for Uplines and Uplines behave in a  fine manner to earn such respect.

How would it make you feel ? When there is just one team in Swissgarde, so that we won’t base our allegiance along the lines of My Director, My Upline, My sister, My church member, my tribes person or my friend.

The above sentiments may seem farfetched, but they are essential ingredients in having a strong multilevel partnership. And for many of us in Swissgarde, you will agree with me that those sentiments if inculcated in a lot of us, will prove to be timely. Let us start with Upline/Downline relationship.

Lead Your Downline, Don’t Carry Them

One of the biggest problems when building your team in this business is learning how to lead your downline to grow their businesses.If you do everything for your downline you will start a welfare system for people in your team.  They will get used to you doing all the work for them and think they will never have to work.  When you stop doing work for them to go back and work on your own business, all of the work you did for them will be for nothing.  It will all come falling down.

DON’T DO THIS! In Your Network Marketing Business

What you want to do is to HELP your downline.  You want to guide them and hold their hand in some cases to get them going, but you don’t want to carry them. So how do you lead your downline, you ask?  Start with the basics…don’t overwhelm new distributors with every part of the complicated compensation plan and every benefit of every product. 
 Start small.  Teach them: sell products & sign up distributors, and you will get paid.  Period.  Then teach them some best practices in selling the products and signing people up to be distributors.  Set incentives for them..  Make sure you break their incentive programme down into small achievable goals so you can track their progress and adjust if necessary.

When they get past these initial steps, make new goals that are a bit more complicated.  They might be targeted goals to reach specific requirements to promote to the next level.  Maybe they will be steps to get them to their first cheque.

The key in all of this is to be teaching them how to do all of these things themselves and at the same time teaching them how to teach their own downline.  This is the absolute best way to build a downline that makes money for you.  You will have distributors that don’t produce.  But if you take this strategy to lead your downline, you will be giving every one of them a real chance at succeeding.  And that gives your business every chance of being more successful.

If you're the upline, here is what you need to know.
One of the big problems you might face are people wanting to quit your team. Some will just leave, and others may discourage other members of your team. I wouldn't recommend chasing or begging people to stay, you can politely try to give words of advice to people who are looking to quit.Things do change over time, so be sure to retain that relationship and don't make your downline feel like you are only friends with them so long as their part of your business . Make it a friends for life program and you will have a powerful network over time. Because some who leave today, may come back tomorrow.

I also recommend giving your downline a lot more value than what they signed for. Do regular trainings to help new people, and work with the people getting the results instead of those who are not putting in the effort! If you're the downline, here is what you need to know.
Step into a leadership role as quickly as possible. The goal should be to get results as fast as possible, so that you can be edified by your upline (good leaders always edify successes) and you can get even more exposure quickly.

Do your best to help other team members by stepping into a leadership role. This does not mean insulting anyone but making yourself available to greater responsibilities. Helping out hosting webinars, seminars, conference calls and events is a great way to get your name out there, even if you aren't getting results right now. The positive energy from being around the right people can easily rub off on you, and your results will reflect that over time as long as you stay plugged into the team!
Stealing from the hardwork of Others

For those who steal prospects from others, they are building on a faulty foundation and thus, their business may not last ( I may repost an older article on this much later).Don’t sell below the recommended price because you are harming the effort of the company in achieving greater heights.

Another issue that bothers us is the Intra and inter team conflicts that some time crops us. It is important for all of us to remember that we all belong to one company. If one team is doing so well and the other team is not doing too well, it will affect the company in general. So, if you have the opportunity of helping others, do it, irrespective of the team the person belongs to. And if you find yourselves within the same team, you can take the following words to heart :
Working in teams can be both beneficial and challenging at the same time. Sharing work can be less than ideal if the team members don’t work well together. In most team settings, you’ll have a leader and one or two other people who share the workload for the entire team. This can lead to pent-up feelings of resentment on the part of those who feel they do the most, and sometimes the other team members can feel left out. Teams that work well together can greatly increase team productivity and create a more cohesive unit culture. 

Here are seven tips that will help your  Network marketing team in Nigeria work well .

Communicate: Obviously, this is one of the most important elements to a strong team performance. Keeping the communication clear, open, honest, and respectful to allow team members to express their feelings in a way that prevents a buildup of hidden anger or distrust. Encourage team members to ask questions and listen to one another. This helps to build better team dynamics and stronger relationships.

Respect individuality: When working with teams, it’s important for Directors and Star 5s  to understand the importance of individuality. When a group of people with all different skills and personalities are put together to accomplish a certain task, understanding what each team member brings to the table is critical. Each team member needs to contribute his or her strengths in order for the team to function as one.

Encourage creativity: Creative input should be encouraged from every team member on every project. Negative comments such as,”which kind yeye talk be this” should be discouraged, and a supportive environment that is open to new ideas should be cultivated.  Brainstorming should be seen as a time to throw ideas out without placing judgement. The best ideas can be culled out later.

Include a mix orientation: Never be seen as someone who favours one tribe, religion, friend or associates in the outworking of things. Give everyone a sense of belonging.

Hold trust-building exercises: Ask any newly formed team member if they trust their fellow team members and you will invariably get "Yes" for an answer. Dig a little deeper and you will discover that this trust level is conditional. Yes, we trust one another to behaviour generally within the bounds of acceptable social behaviour. Yes, we trust each other to not to overtly put individual interests above the needs of the team. But the kind of trust that a High Performance Team needs to develop in order to reach peak performance takes time to develop. An old saying goes something like this: "Trust takes a long time to build up, but can be destroyed in an instant." We learn to trust only by repeatedly taking personal risk and experiencing positive outcomes.One of the Leader's primary responsibilities is to help the team learn to increase its trust level with one another. Trust building exercises help a team increase team trust levels. This is what many Directors and Team leaders in Swissgarde don’t do. ( I will be doing a detailed article on this later, so be on the watch out )

Define roles: Effective teams require clearly-defined roles so that everyone knows what he or she is responsible for. This creates better team cohesion and productivity.

A hyperlink points to a whole document or to a specific element within a document. Hypertext is text with hyperlinks. The text that is linked from it is called anchor text. The document containing a hyperlink is known as its source document. Hyperlinks are often used to implement reference mechanisms such as tables of contents, footnotes, bibliographies, indexes, letters and glossaries.

In a graphical user interface, the appearance of a mouse cursor may change into a hand to indicate a link. In most graphical web browsers, links are displayed in underlined blue text when they have not been visited, but underlined purple text when they have. When the user activates the link (e.g. by clicking on it with the mouse) the browser will display the target of the link. 'Follow Up' As a Support Strategy In Recruiting (Network Marketing)

One thing i have come to observed with our distributors in Swissgarde is that we throw away a lot of potential recruits due to improper follow ups.

 A study done by the Association of Sales Executives revealed that 81% of all sales happen on or after the fifth contact. If you’re a small business person and you’re only doing one or two follow-ups imagine all the business you’re losing. Not following up with your prospects and customers is the same as filling up your bathtub without first putting the stopper in the drain!
But, don’t be disheartened if you are among the distributors that do not do any follow up. The good news is you have ample room for profitable improvement. Consistent follow-up creates a predictable and profitable stream of prospects and customers. Small businesses that capture leads and follow-up with them enjoy higher conversion rates and a higher percentage of referrals than those that don’t.
Three Types of Follow Ups 
There are three types of people you should be following up with, “suspects” (people in your target marketplace), “prospects” (people who have responded to your marketing but have not purchased, and “customers” (people who have purchased something from you.) Each follow up message and offer will be different for each type of person. With suspects, you’ll want to entice them to call you or visit your store / office. With prospects, you need to persuade them to make their first purchase. And with customers, you want to convince them to come back and do more business with you and give your referrals. Obviously the hardest type of person to follow up with is a suspect because they haven’t shown any interest yet in a pool or hot tub and you usually don’t have their contact information. But that’s not true with prospects and customers. You not only know who they are, but you should already have their contact information. And if you follow up with your customers with consistency you’ll find that they will help you turn your suspects into prospects and prospects into customers for you through referrals.

After asking many small distributors the reason they don’t follow up, I often hear responses such as, "I don’t have the resources to follow all leads", or "We’re usually too busy to do a lot of follow up." These responses automatically set off red flags that tell me that they lack a systematic process for following up. The problem is not that they don’t have the capacity to follow up with prospects; it’s that they don’t have the systems in place to do it.

What Does a Good Follow Up System Look Like?
A good follow up marketing system should have three attributes.
It should be systematic, meaning that the follow up process is done the same way every time.
It should generate consistent, predictable results.
It should require minimal physical interaction to make it run, thus, social media tools like whatsapp becomes handy..  

Does this look unrealistic? Not only can it be done, it’s being done every day. The secret to "follow-up marketing" is to make it automatic so that you don’t have to lift a finger but the job still gets done. With today’s technology it’s simpler than ever. Automating your follow-up processes gives you more time to work "on" your business rather than "in" your business. Before your follow up can be effective you must be able to take proper records of suspects, prospects and customers.

You can get the details of SUSPECTS through online advertorials and flyers / posters shared in a target area. You can now send intermittent text messages either through whatsapp, text messages or automated emails and bulk sms, which helps you to preset both emails and bulk sms that goes to their phones. ( For details in using automated emails and bulk sms, see my yet to be released piece RECRUITING STRATEGIES  IN MULTI LEVEL MARKETING ). This way of following up can be applied to both PROSPECTS and CUSTOMERS. Usually, when doing direct text or whatsapp messaging, you should include three to five texts spaced out about seven days apart. You can also follow up this way with emails. The point here is to maintain a regular sequence of contact.
Each sequence should follow a logical argument and you might consider bolstering the offer with each communication using a deadline as a motivator to act now. As an example, in the third communication you could say, "I’m surprised you haven’t taken me up on my generous offer. What’s holding you back?" Or consider saying, "I’ve written you three times and you still haven’t taken me up on my offer so I’m going to pull out all the stops and make you an offer you simply can’t refuse." Notice how the language always links the previous communication and increases the boldness of the offer. It’s the same type of conversation you might have in a regular sales conversation.

Some forget that maintaining the loyalty of an already existing customer is important.  If you don’t do regularly follow up on your existing customers, you may not be there when they are snatched by other networks or when they go to other networks for alternatives, if you are not there to provide them with what they want. So always keep in touch either physically or digitally to keep them.
What About Calling to Follow Up? 
You’ll notice that I didn’t say anything about calling your prospect. That’s because you want your prospect to have already received your educational marketing messages and have most of their questions answered before they call you. An educated prospect is your best prospect.

They already know why you’re different, what your value proposition is, and how you’re uniquely qualified to meet their needs. In essence, they’ve pre-qualified themselves before you ever have to spend time physically speaking to them. This drastically reduces the sales cycle and increases your conversion rate because you have positioned your business to be their only logical choice.
However depending on initial response, phone calls though expensive, can be an effective way to do your follow ups.

Follow-up marketing will boost your closing rate and dramatically increase your customer satisfaction. Following up with systematic processes allows you to leverage your salespeople’s time and enhance their productivity, which will result in more sales with less effort and isn’t that what you want? Start winning more sales today by implementing your own follow-up marketing system.

Give Your Business A Boost : Use Effective Incentive Initiative

If you are a Distributor and you still find yourself dancing in one spot without much business growth, it could be that you are not using incentives to give your business a lift. These, among other things make Swissgarde one of the most result oriented Multi-level marketing companies in Nigeria. So, how can you borrow a leaf from this and probably improve? Let’s tell you how.
Incentives will get your Swissgarde business moving, producing a base , who are  excited about their network marketing business. But before you set incentives to motivate your down lines, ensure that you train them properly. You can on the other hand, only get them trained, if you are properly trained yourself. So after the training, the next key thing is motivation which you achieve with the right incentive programme.
How to Use Incentives 
Recognition raises self-esteem. It shows your distributors that you care about them, and you value and appreciate the effort that they put forth. You can’t put a price tag on that.What you’re trying to achieve with incentive programs is an increase of performance. The two important factors are: 

• What performances to reward 
• What to reward achievers 

So your motivation with incentives should be based on this two critical areas, which is performance or actions that can lead to growth and on achievers or those that got the actual job done. 

What performances to reward
• Total number of guests at MLM opportunity meetings or on conference calls , that a downline achieved.
• Weekly, whoever had the most guests at the meeting or everyone who had over three guests gets a free dinner 
• New prospects  per week/month/quarter  that a distributor reached, this is achieved by proper records which the upline inspects for meeting a set target.
• Retail products you are able to research on for the purpose of eventual sales. There should be evidence that this was done 
• Training steps completed. Incentives can be set for downlines, on training their downlines based on an outline, you have drafted. This is based on the fact that we know the positive effect , being informed has on productivity.
• Highest volume, highest increase in volume, and highest increase in volume percentage.       Are also perfornce areas that we can have, incentives attached to. 
This whole strategy is based on rewarding what leads to the actual result itself. Because, if the conditions are right the result will come. So, ask yourself have you set incentives along these lines?

What to reward achievers
Let us now consider what can be given those who actually did the work. What kind of incentives, can you give? They can include :
• Professionally made certificates in a frame ready to hang on their wall 
• Cash, cash incentives has a positive effect on production.
